Charter FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What payload can I move?

Restrictions on size really come down to the mix of passengers and cargo, their respective dimensions and weight, and the required level of comfort for all on board. Safety is our paramount concern at all times. Our professional team would be happy to consider these factors with you in choosing the best aircraft to suit your requirements.

How quickly can I get to my destination?

We make every effort to deliver on time. With the exception of the turbo prop King Air (with a very fast pace), our piston-engine machines are capable of cruising at comfortable speeds, typically 160 – 180 knots (1 knot = 1.852 km/h). We will consult with you about any weather conditions that may impact on your journey, and plan the most efficient route to get you to your destination.

How much will it cost?

Chartering is a form of transport tailored for our individual client’s needs. We will be pleased to provide a refined quote inclusive of any additional costs that may be incurred for your journey so that you have an accurate estimation up front. Naturally, due to weather conditions, passenger health issues or other extraneous factors, the final assessment may require some variation, for which we reserve all rights.

Do you know where it is?

Flight One subscribes to the most comprehensive mapping and destination database in the country. In those rare cases that there is a destination so new it has not yet been named, we can deliver you there with the support of our highly sophisticated GPS and Navigational Aid instrumentation. There are not too many places we haven’t been, but we’ll always be happy to fly somewhere new!

Please invest a moment of your time to call us on 1800 FLY ONE (07 3123 7300) and we will be happy to assist you further.
